During natural disasters, schools that are severely impacted have an extremely hard time getting back on track. While many schools have an established foundation, in case of emergencies, the response time is often too slow. This led us to our question: How can we help educators stay afloat until the situation evens out again?

Initially, we were going to make the app for anyone who was impacted in natural disasters. But upon further research, we decided to focus specifically on schools once we found out that there was no prominent solution yet. For project purposes, we based this prototype on the Palisades fire of early 2025.
